Principal Scene Features - This sequence shows an outdoor scene with many trees distributed at different depths -- one close at the left, others farther back. The background is mostly covered with trees in the distance, and sky to the top right. The different stereo pairs present the images at different spatial aspects -- 1:1 aspect by horizontal compression, 2:1, as captured in a single image field, and 1:1 obtained by windowing a central part and repeating scanlines for doubled vertical aspect.
STANQUAD (STANQUAD-1 [634 476] STANQUAD-2 [634 476])
Principal Scene Features - These images are produced by windowing from those of the the STANQDBL data set, and then doubling the vertical dimension. This was meant to see if the increased vertical aspect would improve the matching.
Image Registration - The right-eye image is 2-3 pixels below the left-eye image (this provides a little detail on the misalignment of the other 2 STANFORD image pairs).
Photometry - The right eye is approximately 23% brighter than the left.
Pressing the "Download" button will send a .tar file to your machine. The .tar file is not compressed because the images already are. You will need tar to decompress the archive. Any additional information (such as ground truth) will be included in the archive.
Note - the resulting file will be called 'maketar.pl'. Just rename it when you download it and extract it.
Finally, it can take a bit of time to tar up everything for download. Don't quit because it doesn't immediately return.
