Description

Each image has in its property list data about the image, including x - x position of vehicle y - y position of vehicle heading - heading of vehicle turn_radius - radius of curvature person was steering along speed - vehicle speed distance - distance vehicle has traveled

These can be accessed via pngmeta, available from the PNG resources page off the image data base home page.

All of the sequences have a file called alvinn.bin associated with them. This is a data file for my neural network simulator (ebp). It contains the images reduced in resolution and in a form my network reads in.

Most of the sequences have a file called alvinn.wet associated with them. This is the weight file of a network trained on the sequence. For each network, the lookahead was 30m, the min turn radius was 35m, the shifting distance was 0.12m, and the rotation angle was 2.0 degrees.

Download

Currently, only .png format is supported. In the future, you will be able to download images in other formats as well.

Pressing the "Download" button will send a .tar file to your machine. The .tar file is not compressed because the images already are. You will need tar to decompress the archive. Any additional information (such as ground truth) will be included in the archive.

Note - the resulting file will be called 'maketar.pl'. Just rename it when you download it and extract it.

Finally, it can take a bit of time to tar up everything for download. Don't quit because it doesn't immediately return.

This .tar file will be 6250 K large.
