Title: IUL Medical image segmentation tools.

Abstract: The talk covers brief introduction of a medical image format
(DICOM), and introduces medical image segmentation tools developed in
Image Understanding Laboratory(IUL) in Soongsil University.  The tools
include popularly used general segmentation tools such as thresholding
method and region growing method, and goal oriented segmentation tools
such as a Visible human segmentation tool, a vertebra segmentation tool,
and a femoral head segmentation tool. A commercial software, which IUL
involves in development, will be presented to explain what are real
needs in clinical applications.
